SonicWALL launches NSA 240 Print

sonicwall.pngSonicWALL has expanded its family of network security appliances with the release of the new SonicWALL NSA 240.

"The NSA 240 represents the fruition of our goal to create a leading edge Unified Threat Management Appliance targeted at branch offices, that delivers enterprise-class security and application management in a single, easy-to-use, easy-to-deploy appliance," said Patrick Sweeney, Vice President of Network Security, SonicWALL.

According to the company, the NSA series is “designed specifically to address the challenges of application management and bandwidth growth”.

The NSA 240 features six fast-Ethernet ports, with PortShield and VLAN support and one PC card slot for 3G or a modem, for primary or secondary connections.

In other SonicWALL news, Chris Kidd has been appointed Nationwide Business Development Manager for SonicWALL by Renaissance. Kidd will be looking after the entire business and relationship management for New Zealand.
